It’s called “brand repositioning.”
You take a brand and transform all the assumptions about it and “reposition” it into a whole new category.
Tylenol, for instance, was no longer just another aspirin, but a special pain reliever replacing aspirin.
That’s what Obama’s doing with Gun Control. He’s rebranding it.
[Clip: “Second Amendment rights are important. There are other rights that we care about as well.”]
He means the so-called right to ‘public health’ that will bypass your right to bear arms.
Gun Control is in a whole new market now. It’s no longer a “Second Amendment” brand but a “public health” brand.
What better way to disarm law-abiding citizens who could rebel against a government run amuck.
And Obama tabbed his anti-gun Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy, to make the branding stick.
[Clip: “There has been controversy around my nomination for Surgeon General around a tweet that I had posted a few years ago after the Newtown shooting where I said…”
“Why don’t you share the tweet?”
“Sure. The tweet said that gun violence is a public health issue. And I said that after Newtown. I’ll say it again today.”]

Shootings fall under the jurisdiction of prosecutors, not doctors.
But Obama re-positions gun crime as a “disease” and your right to bear arms takes a back seat to the medical elite.
Yet death by medical error is a much bigger public health problem.
Gun deaths are at only 30,000 per year inclusive of suicides and accidental deaths. And this number has been in a continual decline.
Compare this with over 400,000 deaths per year caused by medical errors, and another 100,000 caused by health care related infections.
Just last week, 7,000 patients at a Utah hospital were exposed to hepatitis C from contact with an infected nurse.
Now which is the real “public health” threat? Going to the hospital or the risk of gun violence?
It’s a battle for your mind, and Obama’s got his Jewish ‘experts’—Katzburg and Gross—doing his merchandising for him.

“Cross sector partnerships are incredibly important to us, especially partnerships in the health and public health area because gun violence, at the end of the day, has been looked at too long through a political lens.”]
That means sidestepping the Second Amendment.
Mr Trump, take notice.

“So, President Obama has been hitting the Second Amendment and he would like to hit it very hard. So I have a real problem with the way it’s done and I have a real problem any time you start knocking and taking chunks out of the Second Amendment.”]
No. The real problem isn’t taking chunks out of the Second Amendment, it’s bypassing it.
You see, Federal activity in public health grew rapidly during the 60s and 70s framed around the “Commerce Clause” of the Constitution.
Medicare, Medicaid, and OSHA fell under the Commerce Clause. Even tobacco advertising regulation came under it.
Our government now has the precedent and practice to engage in public health matters.
Own a gun and you’re a ‘health hazard.’
It will start with schizophrenia.
Then you won’t be trusted with a gun if you ever took Prozac.
Already under the Commerce Clause you can’t drink and drive.
Next up, you can’t carry and drive.
It’s a plan to strip the goyim of their guns.
Why else does the NRA list the American Jewish Committee, the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and the Anti-Defamation League as the biggest anti-gun lobbies in America?
Obama may cry his fake crocodile tears but his game isn’t about compassion, it’s about hatred of Christian gun owners.
You can shout the Second Amendment all you want.

Obama wants to become UN Gen Sec so this would be by way of CV for the job since he will not be able to see it through.
Those with continuity would expect Hilary to do the “good work”, assuming (heaven forbid) she gets the opportunity.

No longer about terminating a pregnancy for convenience of the pregnant mother-to-be, the availability of fetal stem cells and fetal tissue will lead to abortion being about “harvesting the unborn so as to contribute resources directed at medical research intended for saving lives through novel processes.” Or something along those lines.
A woman will not be aborting her unborn child, she will be contributing to saving the lives of those stricken with horrible maladies. This approach has already been floated and tested yet left wanting.
Confiscation of savings, checking and retirement accounts will be re-branded as “funding much-need, shared government functions and infrastructure which will then pay back ‘investors’ (re: those confiscated from) with more secure (actually less secure), higher yielding (actually lesser yielding) ‘investments.'”
After all, you didn’t make that!
Police departments have been re-branded as “law enforcement” already. Next step in that process will be “government militia” bearing no relation to the real meaning of a militia.
Resource rich public lands being restricted from any public access are branded as “world heritage sites” when in reality, they are set aside as collateral for propping up a fiat currency which is designed to fail.
It will not be Americans benefiting from those resources when they are eventually opened up for exploitation. Someone else will get the goodies while the American people will get stuck with the clean-up and the tailings when that happens.

You’ll need a doctor’s permission to purchase fast food (whether or not you eat it will be up to you), to watch violent movies and TVshows, play violent videogames, purchase provocative print material, this could go on indefinitely…
The point being that a physician, via Obamacare(lessness), will be the gatekeeper for every risk-taking, health-threatening action an individual will ever take.
President Hillary might go so far as to have toothbrushes registered due to their potential for being made into shivs. The American Dental Association being coerced into supporting dental safety.

The 2nd Amendment was put there for a reason. It wasn’t just ‘filler’ buried in a 6000 page ‘trade’ deal that sneaks in special privileges for Israel and Jews. Right behind the 1st, Freedom of Speech and Religion, comes the 2nd hot on its heels. This is a central tenet to our constitutional republic.
Crime is a problem. The fact people use guns to commit crime is a problem. But I can’t remember when there was a national discussion on what causes someone to commit a crime in the first place, with respect to a person’s *character*.
Imagine if the 10 Commandments were posted all over the place, “Thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not lie”. This word posted without matches the word emblazoned on the conscience within.
Do we *really* want to lower crime? Why not try that? These so-called ‘atheists’ are wrong. And as +BN points out, all the ‘atheist’ groups that want the 10 Commandments torn down from public view are Jewish.
There is a cheating study that proved when test takers were tasked with writing down the 10 Commandments before they took the test, the cheating dropped to ZERO, when in all the other tests it was like 70%, or something.
A degraded, degenerate society is fertile ground for crime. Few in public positions have the nerve to say America has become socially degenerate, and this is a substantial contributor to crime.
Then there are all the excuses made for lying, stealing and killing, which are basically founded on born in the wrong place to the wrong race, so the new thing is to excuse the crime, justify it, look the other way, etc.
Yet, as +BN illustrates, gun crime is drop in the bucket to all the other things that cause far more deaths. The most dangerous place to be is in a hospital.
Lastly, and few even mention this, the 2nd Amendment says “bear arms”. It does not say “guns”. The definition of arms is “weapons and ammunition; armaments”. Back in 1787, all they had was musket and cannon. The founders used the term “arms” purposely, as they surely anticipated arms technology would continue to develop.
Thus, not only do we have the right to have a gun, we have the right to anything else, including rockets, nukes, F-16s, Blackhawk helicopters, SAMs, grenades, you name it.
Back in 1787, giving the people the right to bear arms put the government at a decided disadvantage. The people had far more firepower than the government.
It was placed in the Constitution as a guarantee against tyranny, something that the Founders knew from the study of history was inevitable if the old governmental construct were in place. That is why they came up with the federal plan, which many anti-federalists objected to (and they turned out right), in the first place.
Now we see the very type of scenario unfolding for which the 2nd Amendment was given.
Yet we have a substantially and grotesque imbalance of power between the fed government and state government military forces, which includes the National Guard, and we the people. *They* have the ultimate weaponry and armaments. What do we have? I bet most of your readers don’t even have a BB gun.
And now that we see the government intends to look in the federal database of who owns guns, to just come by the house and take it for whatever reason, they will make outlaws of us yet. I don’t own any guns now, but whenever I get around to purchasing one, I won’t buy it the formal way. That is the bottom line. I’ll buy it on the street.
Better yet, I’ll go to Syria and get one that falls from the sky as the CIA drops weapons freely for anybody to use over there, and then I will sail on my private yacht and come home, place my weapons where I can get to them if I need them, and go back to work 🙂

The AMA has NO authority when it comes to such rebranding. Gun ownership is NOT a health problem. Physical and Mental diseases are. And, as you said, medical errors rank top in causes of deaths at 400,000 per year.
This is what the AMA must address, not the 2nd Amendment Right to bear arms. That Amendment guarantees the #1 God-given, unalienable Right to Life, as well as the other two such Rights – Liberty and Happiness (Property).
Unalienable means God-given; and NO government may grant or take away these unalienable Rights. Self-defense comes under the Right to Life.
Ted, your post on another issue totally ignored by the AMA (genetic diseases caused by in-breeding among Jews) is also right on target. The most noted is Tay Sachs, which is usually fatal.
Instead of focusing on gun ownership, which is NOT within the purview of the AMA, physicians should be focusing on true health problems.

I pasted in the last few paragraphs containing the mention!

It is a plot, Obama lies. Guess they figure the government can abolish the people and vote in a new people?!
It will happen like this:
Specific models of guns will be outlawed (Like California); they’ll eventually outlaw everything but possibly limited magazine capacity shot-guns.
They will not come get them. We will be given a time to turn them in for destruction. Once that time is expired, there will be a one year in prison and/or $10,000 fine for first offense of being caught with one.
Jewmericans will turn on each other and sell each other out, as they will with mandatory vaccines.
Within a generation, the risk of firing or transporting a gun will be so risky that very few will continue to own them. The Jews and Jew proselytes won’t risk a door to door collection. They don’t need to.
They’ll just wait the Goyim out and let us devour each other, as we have done to our own brothers and sisters in the Civil War, twice done to our brothers and sisters in Germany, and many millions of other folks around the planet.
On Guns, Californians Practice ‘Irish Democracy’ and Ignore Bone-Headed Laws (National Review – Kevin D Williamson)
Hell-raising is fine — for a time.
It isn’t even St. Patrick’s Day, but we are all Irish now: In Connecticut, the boneheaded state government passed a law demanding the registration of certain firearms, and the people of Connecticut, perhaps communing for a moment with their independent-minded Yankee forebears, mainly refused to comply.
On the other side of the country in the heart of California’s technology corridor, the city of Sunnyvale demanded that residents hand over all firearms capable of accepting magazines holding more than ten rounds — effectively, everything except revolvers and some single-shot rifles — and the good men and women of Silicon Valley responded by turning in a grand total of zero firearms.
Similar initiatives in other jurisdictions have produced similar results. Political scientists call this “Irish democracy,” the phenomenon by which the general members of a polity resist the mandates of their would-be rulers by simply refusing to comply with them.
It is a low-cost form of civil disobedience, but one that can be very effective at times: Mohandas K. Gandhi was entirely correct in his famous declaration to the British powers that they would eventually be forced to simply pack up their tiffin pails and go home, because 300,000 Englishman could not control 300 million (at the time) Indians if those Indians didn’t cooperate.
One way of considering the radical potential of simple noncompliance is the “10 percent synchronous subversion factor,” the proposition that if 10 percent of the U.S. population refused to (for instance) pay taxes or answer jury-duty summonses, then the rules would have to change, because they would be unenforceable: There aren’t enough tax agents, constables, slots on court dockets, or jail cells to enforce the rules against 32 million Americans if they should decide to refuse to comply with a given law.
The prospect of the local-yokel police in Sunnyvale, Calif., going door to door, Fallujah-style, trying to collect nonconforming firearms is humorous to contemplate; contemplating the same sort of development in Texas or Wyoming is rather less amusing, because at that point the model of resistance would stop being Irish democracy and almost certainly would mutate into something a lot more like Lexington and Concord.
No decent, patriotic person wants to see that.
Nor does one relish the idea of police forces being obliged to choose between attempting to enforce an illegal and unconstitutional order and ceding the interpretation of constitutional law to mob-ocracy. Even for those of us who understand why the Second Amendment exists and who endorse the reasoning behind it, trusting in the prudence of large, armed crowds of 21st-century Americans requires an act of faith well in excess of the evidence.
The hallmark episode of Irish democracy in the American setting is Prohibition, which is a cautionary tale — and not only for the would-be modern prohibitionist.
Prohibition demonstrated several things to the American public, which took the lesson to heart:
–Politicians are entirely capable of making stupid laws when in the grips of voguish thinking;
–the American people are more than capable of ignoring and subverting those laws;
–that subversion often is met with ruthlessness and brutality on the part of law enforcement, but enforcement is by no means even-handed;
–hypocrisy, like alcohol, is a useful social lubricant in moderation but debilitating in excess;
–social tensions reveal who has political power and who doesn’t, casting a harsh bright light on Lenin’s fundamental question — “Who? Whom?”; and law enforcement is just as corruptible as any other institution.
Prohibition did a lot of damage by providing an enduring model of organized crime, but it also undermined Americans’ faith in the rule of law as such: Favoritism in enforcement, bribery, and institutional incapacity severely damaged the law’s prestige.
We have never really quite recovered.
Our new prohibitionists are a lot like the old ones. The nice corduroy-clad liberals in places such as Georgetown and the Upper West Side use guns as a stand-in for the sort of people who own guns in much the same way as the old WASP prohibitionists used booze as a stand-in for the sort of people who drank too much: Irish and other Catholics, especially immigrants, and especially especially poor immigrants.
The horror at “gun culture” is about the culture — rural, conservative, traditionalist, patriotic, self-reliant or at least aspiring to self-reliance — much more than it is about the guns. It’s the same sort of dynamic that gets people worked up about Confederate flags or poor white people with diabetes who shop at Walmart.
A little dose of Irish democracy is an excellent thing in response to that, especially when it is coming from California and Connecticut rather than Oklahoma and Alabama. But winning the fight on gun rights while losing the fight on the rule of law is the very definition of a Pyrrhic victory.
It is necessary that we also prevail politically and legally, which we have been, thanks in no small part to the efforts of the NRA and affiliated groups, as well as the increasingly sensible view of the American public that what’s wrong with mass shooters has more to do with the mental-health system — and that what’s wrong with Chicago has something to do with that, too, inasmuch as the inmates are running that particular asylum.
The Supreme Court has been more than clear, on more than one occasion, that the Second Amendment says what it means and means what it says. We also have a long legal and constitutional tradition that prohibits stripping people of their civil rights — including their Second Amendment rights — without due process, generally in the form of an indictment and a trial and a conviction.
If the Democrats want to do away with the Second Amendment, let them begin the amendment process and see how far they get.
We should challenge them to do so at every opportunity. In reality, the Democrats have declared war on the First Amendment, voting in the Senate to repeal it; they have declared war on the Second Amendment at every turn; they also have declared war on due process and, in doing so, on the idea of the rule of law itself, beginning with the notion of “innocent until proven guilty.”
That isn’t liberalism — it’s totalitarianism. That’s a winnable fight, and we should welcome it.

The question is, will gun-loving citizens stand down their rights even when unconstitutional laws are being passed that could force them into slavery?
Especially when the ones that craft and pass these laws are lawless criminals? I don’t think so. When the time comes, even the cowards will defend their own families against this satanic force of Jews and their subordinates.
Right now their fear is so great that they know that President Putin is not going to let them continue doing what they have been doing for centuries, and they know that their time is running out very fast, so we all better prepare for when the crap hits the fan.
While I believe that the Democrats have undermined all rights of freedom inside the United States, and have proven themselves to be godless and lawless criminals, at the same time we can say that the Republicans have not acquired sainthood by driving our nation into a multitude of wars forever.
They are without any care for all the youth that has been destroyed physically and spiritually causing them to commit suicide, with now more casualties than the ones that our recent wars have caused on the battlefield.
